  Q: What is the most current version?


A: The latest version is 2.1.1 build 03. This information appears on the About screen.
If the text is hard to read click over to fix it.
 
 
 
  Q: I've opened an account but I've never received the verification mail.

A:
Some email services such as hotmail will move the email we send to the bulk, trash or spam folder depending on the mail service you use. If you use outlook or outlook express software for example, you may not receive the mail at all. In this case you'll have to retrieve the mail from the webmail service by using the web browser instead of your mail software. Once you retrieve the mail with the browser find the switch to accept receiving other mails from our company or you will miss other important communications such as account changes or service status. Make sure then you enable caracolix.com and hit2count.com as trusted email addresses.
 
 
 
  Q: Can I use the same email address to open other accounts?


A: Yes you can. There is no restrictions with that.
 
 
 
  Q: How many accounts can I open?


A: As many as you want as long as all the previous accounts are already paid accounts and in good standing.
 
 
 
  Q: Can I make a counter that does not show in my pages?


A: Yes you can. In fact by default all HitMan counters are hidden from public view.
 
 
 
  Q: How can I show the status of all my counters to one of my advertisers?


A: Your advertiser needs to install the HitMan console on a Windows computer and from there they can audit HitMan powered counters by selecting the Visit Account option. They are not required to open an account in order to do that but you must enable the Public Access setting for each account you want to give public access. You can also assign a password so only some people can really access your counters status.
 
 
 
  Q: I can't find the language pack I need can you help?


A: Unfortunately we can't. Language packs not included with the install are created by other users like you. Usually we are not notified of ongoing translation works until they send it for distribution.
 
 
 
  Q: Can I monitor an account from more than one computer?


A: Yes. You can install HitMan in as many computers as you like and monitor the same accounts from any computer. Just export the database from the master computer and import it from the others.
You'll have to do the export/import process every time you make changes such as adding new items or replacing older items.
Do not use any other method to avoid corrupting your remote counter data.
 
 
 
  Q: Can I monitor my account from the web without using the HitMan software?


A: No. For security purposes that option is not allowed at this time.
 
 
 
  Q: Do you have an alternate form of payment?


A: Yes. Select the About tab and press F4 for alternate payment instructions.
